If a customer unknowingly designs a 5 color front and back t-shirt and has the option to pay/check-out they may be shocked by the high cost and look into another option elsewhere. Allot of people don't understand the pricing structure of screen printing and embroidery. If the customer sends you a quote request you can explain to them their options and costs.
When your customer opens the Design Studio they are doing so to design a shirt/item and not be overwhelmed with choosing a shirt/item through lots of brands, styles and fabrics. It is best to leave that to after they request a quote. When you receive the Quote Request you will see the generic item they have chosen and explain the best options for the type of shirt/item they are looking for. You know the products best and can guide them in the right direction. Thick, thin, soft, durable, performance, etc..
